The ECS2100-10P is a 8-port Gigabit PoE L2 switch with 2 SFP ports and a fan-less design.

===== Hardware =====
  * [[rtl838x|RTL8380M]] SoC
  * Macronix MX25L25635EMI (32MB flash)
  * Nanya W631GG8MB (256MB DDR3 SDRAM)
  * 2x [[rtl8231|RTL8231]] GPIO extender to control the port LEDs, system LED and a reset button.
  * Microchip PD6900 PoE PSE Controller w/ embedded ARM microcontroller
  * Microchip PD69208M PoE PSE Manager

Power is supplied via a 100-240V Type C13 connector. 

An RJ45 Serial console is found on the front panel to right of SFP ports. Serial connection is via 115200 baud, 8N1.

Ports 1-8 can also provide power according to 802.3.at (PoE+) and PoE is controlled by the PD69208M. PoE management is done by the PD6900 which has an embedded NXP Kinetis ARM microcontroller.
