The SX-8P is an 8 + 1-port Gigabit L2 switch with up to 125 Watts of PoE+ power on the 8 Gigabit ports

  * Nanya NT5TU128M8HE (128MB DDR2 SDRAM)
  * [[rtl8231|RTL8231]] GPIO extender to control the port LEDs, system LED and a reset button.
  * STMicroelectronics 32F100C8T6B ARM microcontroller to service the PoE controller
  * 2x Broadcom BCM59111KMLG 4-port  802.3a PSE controllers

1 Uplink port is a SFP cage which support 1000 Base-X mini GBIC modules.

Power is supplied via a 54V 2.77A barrel connector. PoE budget is 125 W with 30W maximum per port.

An RJ45 Serial console is found on the back panel to right of SFP port. Serial connection is via 115200 baud, 8N1.
